Choir Director and Assistant Organist (Church of England Benefice of St. Mary's Woodbridge and St. Mary's Great Bealings)

There is an exciting vacancy for this new post, with effect from September 2022.

We have recently appointed a new Organist, Dr Sarah Dodds, and would like someone to join our musical team to lead and build up the broad and creative musical tradition here, which will include recruiting new youngsters, as well as adults, and making good links with our local schools.

Our present choir is RSCM affiliated: loyal and regular in attendance. We would appreciate enthusiastic leadership within our modern catholic tradition and, in a beautiful part of East Suffolk.

The remuneration is subject to experience and negotiation within RSCM guidelines, and the applicant will also be needed to direct a variety of other occasions, including some weddings and funerals. Church Choir Leader Vacancy

The Benefice of Dalham, Gazeley, Higham, Kentford and Moulton is looking for a part time Choir Leader to lead their highly well-thought-of benefice choir. With responsibility for music/choral pieces at around 15 services across the parishes each year, the candidate for this position should demonstrate a good working relationship with the Rector and choir and have proven experience in choral directing.

The vacancy arises because the current Rector who leads the choir is retiring in May 2016. It may suit an organist or enthusiastic young or retired musician with excellent communications skills and a sense of fun.
